Pile O' Cell
As I have been cleaning up the workbench I found a project which has lasted for several days! I emptied out my figural drawer and noted that the blades in them were worn horribly but no cell rot present so I unpinned the junk blades and found some good ones for them. I painted the 4 in the second picture myself! (not too bad....for me, that is!). Best thing I did was find a match for my "Morning Glide Deluxe" scales and a sweet 13/16 Weck blade! Now I have less razors, but better ones!
Dang! Now I have to hone!

In my redneck fashion, I use paint markers from Hobby Lobby. The brightest colors you see is Permopaque brush tip. I only have one on green and blue and a fine-point in dark blue the peropauque can be polished as well. However it is permanent! The rest is cheap 12 for 6 dollar water-based brush-tips.
I like those best as they are cheap and if they dry out, you know! Second is if I screw up, I can wash it off and start over. I rough up the areas to be painted with Comet on a wet Q-tip and wash/dry. Apply the color as I like it, hang it from the top pinholes and stand back to mist it inside the scales and outside, with a bit with clear enamel.
