    Have a nice day!
Very cool scales. I am quickly, if not already, a huge W&B fan.

I knew it was off topic, but shaving and sunrise/sunset photo's relax me. So I figured someone else may enjoy also.

    O.K. gents,
because some of you like my scales (I'm not a Pro!)
I'll show you the 3 of my W&B's I rescaled.
It's too bad that I got these blades without or with destroyed scales.

If the Straightrazor is closed- most of the details you can see at the blades.
    Enjoy!

Prep: Hot Shower w/ Bulgari White Tea conditioner on beard
    Strop: Kanayama (35/70)
    Razor: John Engstrom Frameback
    Brush: Vulfix Silvertip
Lather: Ogallala Bay Rum (Thanks Rene) + CarrieM Bay Rum (Thanks Karen) + 8 drops Glycerin
    Astringent: Thayer's Lavender
ASB: CarrieM After Shave Milk (Unscented)
    EdT: Creed Royal Delight

What a nice shave today! The lather was divine; it was so slick I almost had trouble stretching the skin. And that scent is intoxicating; it got me thinking back a couple of years to a wonderful day on the beach in Maui! The After Shave Milk Karen sent to me is terrific. It is very moisturizing without leaving any oil. She's made me an instant fan - as she does with all of her products. I'm BBS and ready to start the day...

Smile Week of August 29 SOTD - Tuesday

Pre-Shave: Hot shower + Stephan's Conditioning Smooth Shave Creme
Razors: 13/16" Filarmonica Doble Temple #13, Hollow, Square Point
    Brush: 23mm Shavemac Silvertip Badger
Überlather: CarrieM Oakmoss Shave Creme + Mama Bear's Myrrh Shave Soap + Glycerin
Astringent: Thayers Witch Hazel (Lavender, no alcohol)
    ASB: Truffit & Hill Trafalgar
    Facial Moisturizer: Trumper's Facial Moisturizer
    Cologne: Penhaligon Racquets
Result: Seems we have a few Fili shaves between yesterday and today...so, break the trend? I decided to use my DT #13 today. What a shave. As always, CarrieM's creme was a delight to use for lather , especially when mixed in with some Mama Bear soap and a few drops of glycerin. Great cushion and glide. If you haven't tried CarrieM's cremes yet, you don't know what you are missing. I used 3 passes and got a smooth BBS skin, ready for a Tuesday filled with nothing but meetings...Uuughhhhh!!

The shave looks great, and your Fili makes me anxious to get mine back from being honed!

    Tuesday 8/31/2010

    A.Feist & Co. Lunawerk
    New Forest 2201
    Mem sc
    Thayers Cucumber WH w/ aloe
    Musgo Real a/s balsam
    GFT Spanish Leather cologne

A terrific shave with the Lunawerk and Mem combination. I have been stropping with a nylon webbing strop prior to the leather since I picked it up off a B/S/T but recently went back to canvas which seems to work better for me. The Lunawerk was smooth and gentle and a damn fine shave was the result.
