I wish you taskind and MikeB52 to come to Perugia a personally meet Mastro Livi. I am sure you both would appreciate the experience as well as watching him at work.

I am particularly fond of Damasteel straight razors. Although it is very hard for me to tell what steel I like the best among those used by Mastro Livi - each one has its own quality and character - I like Damasteel because of its aggressiveness. This one is part of a personal series I ordered to Mastro Livi and to be used in my trips: although my favorite sizes are 7/8 and 8/8, smaller blades are better when you travel. Lovely razor, including its amaranth buckeye burl scales, a material I like quite a lot both for its look and pattern.

I am very proud to show you my newest Masto Livi straight razor. I wrote so many times how much I like RWL34 steel - because of its quality of giving a deep and close shave - and I asked Mastro Livi to make a new one from this steel. As for scales, I opted for amboyna burl and the combination of cream-reddish colors looks just beautiful. Tomorrow I am going to use it for my Sunday shave and - you guess that - I can't wait to shave with this magnificent beauty!

The thumb notch. I love that! Very comfortable for a very safe grip.

Superb razor! Deep, effective and very keen, this Mastro Livi straight razor fulfilled all of my expectations providing a very comfortable and magnificent shave. I like aggressive straight razors and this RWL34 just proves all the good things that can be said about Mastro Livi razors made from this stainless steel. Not to mention how I like the scales: the bi-colored amboyna burl really make this razor both elegant and beautiful to see. I am very happy with my new Mastro Livi straight razor!

Super smooth shave! This is the very first straight razor I ordered to Mastro Livi and it certainly is one of the finest in my collection. It is now about two years since I bought this razor and it always served me impeccably. Never honed or even touched up with chromium oxide paste, it still shaves like the first day. To the pleasure of this lovely shave I added a new acquisition: a Voigt & Cop shave brush, a well made brush made in Italy by two artisans and of which I am very happy. Today's shave can be certainly called a genuine and very good shave made in Italy.
