    Default Razor info requested

    While on my hunt I found two razors that I have no knowledge of one says vauzy has a little cross style emblem attached to a box of sort and nothing else the other says the conqueror the blade says fully waranted and the back says Germany. Any info would be appreciated

    Here some information on your Vauzy razor. Louis Vauzy founded the company in 1751 in Thiers France.
    Name: vauzy.JPG Views: 261 Size: 14.6 KB
    The first registration of Vauzy in Thiers was in 1809 according to the Thiers registration office, but they only go back to that year.

    The first time the logo on your razor comes up its in 1875, so your French razor is probably from around that time.

    Martin thanks for all the info, she is very rough but not on the shaving edge. My 80 grit paddle on the dremel barely made a dent. Might be one to send out to have professionally restored before I screw it up.
