Default Cigar Box Straight Storage Case

Thanks to all who recently offered to send me cigar boxes for straight razor storage, but I found exactly what I was looking for on Ebay for less than $20! This awesome wooden cigar box has two divided trays that do an excellent job of holding and protecting my str8s, and looks great to boot:

The individual holders are big enough to accommodate even my biggest Sheffield blades.

There is a bottom tray under the top one for my growing collection, too (not sure what I'm going to do with the glass cigar tubes, though, maybe use them in my mad scientist's lab?)

Anyway, for any of you trying to start your shave den on a budget, this is a low-cost, but still classy-looking storage solution. Aaron

Great idea! The only trouble is, I would be tempted to buy more razors to fill it up.

You can take one of the glass tubes, fill it with rice, stuff a cotton ball in the end, put it back in the bottom rack,,,it will collect the moisture for you,,,keeping the box a little bit dryer inside.

I used to pick these up at the local tinder box (cigar store) They used have a ton of them dirt cheap.

Awesome idea! Will they hold a 9/8 razor though?

With a 3 razor rotation, I don't think I can move them from the top of my bureau. Too many times during the day I pick one or more up to admire them and to make sure they have had enough sleep to be used again.
