Thread: Triangle Area, North Carolina..Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill..

I saw two people from the Triangle post on the Charlotte meetup thread. I was wondering if there are enough interested straight razor or DE or SE shavers interested in getting together here in the Triangle?

Ha, I just replied to you in the Charlotte thread. Yes, Triangle and Triad aren't too far apart either and the one Charlotte guy could meet us in between, if he wanted.

Hey guys--I live in Durham. It'd be great to get together!

So, Nipper and Durhampiper, where do we go from here. Are meetups at someone's home? Do we bring items we want to sell or swap? Do we go for a beer and talk? Are there more members in our area or a general NC meetup? I saw a NC group with last date posting in 2010.

How about getting together at Geer Street Garden for a beer and show-and-tell? With the cooler weather, sitting out back there at a picnic table under a nice umbrella is pretty pleasant.

Good idea and just a few blocks from me. Good Sunday brunches as well. Nipper has contacted me with phone, for easier communication and address. I'm off work this week and most any time would work. During my work week, I work 10:30 AM to 7 PM or so.

Sure or we could get together at my place, it's not a problem really. I will be out of town from Wed.26 Sept to Sun.30 Sept. but after that i'm up for getting together somewhere.

Just chiming in from afar; you might scare up some attendees by posting in that old 2010 thread. Also, you can do an advanced search in the Members List (in the Community drop-down) and find people by typing in just a state. The Mods can do bulk PMs, too.
