Default Greater Toronto Razor Meet 2016

Ok guys I'm thinking it's time to have another meet. I was thinking sometime in June. No location has be chosen yet but I'd like to get more of the Toronto guys out. If you know or have a spot speak up. Maybe we can do a scale making workshop this time.
    Who's interested?

Just had a look at the old threads to see who I should email/private message and found out we have been doing these meets for 5 years now. Where does the time go?

A grand idea Colin. Doing a kitchen reno at Casa Bolton currently, but I might be able to tear away next month, depending on locale.

Would love to attend, location is always a factor....but July/August sounds great...what the heck do you bring to these things? All our kit? Do we not shave for a couple of days...LOL.

I know at the least, I'll be bringing a few Eschers, and some razors for some honing tips. Sheesh, guess I might as well bring my Nani's, 1,2,3,5,8,10 and 12....some hands on honing would be fun.

Everything!!!!! I especially would love to drool over all your Sheffs Andrew. I've also heard rumors from some of the older members, that Holli has an amazing collection.

I've seen a few of them 5 years ago at our first meet. I was in awe.

Phrank if distance is a problem. I'll come get you just to have you there.

Holli what weekends are good I'm sure we can make adjustments.

As of now, July 16, 23, and Aug 13, 20, 27 are available. One or two of those will probably get booked, but I can work around a meet if that gets set first.

No worries about transportation, it's the time....August will work for me for sure, July is already turning into crap with schedules....I'll just pack my whole dang razor chest, stones and all....

I can host in lovely Orangeville once more if we are talking July/Aug, if no one closer to TO is able. Kitchen will be done by then or I will be single again anyway, hehe.
If I haul up some of the sanders we could crank out a few sets of scales and get em to ready for finish stage. If others could bring their belt sanders could get more accomplished. Have a scroll saw at the ready as well. Plus the pantograph engraver for that personal touch.

Orangeville works for me, the wife can go visit my inlaws and I can visit some people I like, who happen to also like razors......
