Probably some ignorant random f*** who thought he could cash in on a numbered special edition item.

This is a guy who tried to hijack SRP a while back for his own profit. He was assisted by a guy who is now a moderator on an imitation forum. That guy sold his as well. Both demonstrated, in my opinion, a complete lack of integrity and class. Water under the bridge at this time however. Live and let imitate. Tis all about learning and keeping the art alive. Our success has always been about the great members we have and their willingness to help other people. Have fun. Lynn

On that topic, remember that imitation is the highest praise. However, I can't get over the fact that he knows the significance of the particular series and is still parting with the blade.

LX Relax...as horrible as it is to sell an SRP edition razor to a non SRP member, think of all the free advertising we just got!!! The bigger the forum gets, the better for the whole straight razor world (as long as the forum retains its smalltown feel!!)

Consulting the ebay names list, it looks like wopmanfixit is bidding on it and keeping it in SRP hands. I was planning on bidding on it for the same reason but I'll let wopman work on it and I'll just keep an eye on it.

These razors are still available from Classic, right? So anyone who wanted one could join here without being screened and pick one up. What's really unfortunate part is that he's trying to profit from the excusivity of the item.

I think we should contact the winning bidder as invite him to join SRP, if he isn't already a member. Just an idea. Lose a crummy member, gain a good one.

LX, he's listed on Netherlands site, so it's your job to knock on his door.

Who was it that sent one of those limited edition razors to one of the guys on that American Chopper show? That was also treason.
