    Default Whisker Map

I've been trying to practice my flash skills so I decided to start making random flash apps. So I grabbed one of the pictures on the wiki and turned it into an app to map your face hairs.

Nothing elaborate simply select a direction arrow and then click on the face section to set the direction. You can save the picture or print if if you want.

If we find an actual use for such an app I will update it to make it more functional as needed (time permitting of coarse).

Just gave it a shot and it looks really good.
The save option is a good button to have too.
Thanks for you efforts and congrats on the end result.

I've got a good use for it, if you know how to make a little more complex programming...

PM if you wanna spitball the idea.

The print and save button where the code I was learning this time around. Never done those before and my scripting still needs some exercise.

Thanks for the Ideas you sent out Bango, I'm sure I'll add a few things to it and see how it works out.

    Default Brilliant!!

I've wondered about doing something like this for my bathroom after seeing these in barbers manuals here and there. Good thing too. After filling in the spaces and then running up and down the stairs to the mirror in the B.R. I figured out that I've been hitting my problem areas all wrong. Thanks for putting this together. It'll come in handy when a new guy has questions about hitting those spots and can't quite put into words what he's got going on with his beard.

Glad I can help! Once you get all the kinks worked out, hopefully they can make this a sticky or part of the wiki for newbies. This is a great tool for new guys to find the direction of their beard growth.

    Thanks for putting this together!

I get the swirls, but what are the crossed symbols (the bottom two)?

(Thanks, btw. Very cool visual aid.)

My guess is it's for hair that grows in multiple directions, but not exactly a swirl (which would be a cowlick). I have a spot like that under the corner of my right jaw. Every direction is ATG almost, so to get BBS (which I haven't been able to do in that spot) I have to go N-S, S-N, E-W and some other NNW-SSE kind things. Again, I haven't gotten BBS there and this is probably why. It seems there's always one direction I can rub after a shave and it'll feel a little rough.
