Default DE box and razor case.

Here's a box I made for my DE and a case I made for one of my straights.

I made the DE box by laminating strips of wood.
The original box was destroyed because someone had put paint thinner in the lacquer can, so I made a new one.

Sadly the lid has warped over time but it's still a nice box.

The razor case was made in three layers, the inner box was made of playing card type cardboard, the outer box was made of thick paper from the back of a college note book with baking paper as the outer layer.
I wet the cardbord with a spray bottle so it would be easier to mold it into shape then I wrapped the pieces around a piece of wood and glued everything together when it was dry.

    Great Work!

Any details on the straight razor box?? Personally I'd really like to know how you pulled it off!

This one was experimental so I didn't really expect it to turn ut successful but if I do another one, I'll include a more detailed tutorial.

Very nice. I especially like the laminated strips and the pattern.

I also experimented with this pattern but it proved too difficult to get it right, maybe I'll give it another shot sometime.Name: DSC00108.jpg

Very nice work. I like the DE Box.
