    Friday 11/5/10

Edwin Jagger Chatsworth w/ Gillette Sharpedge
    Semogue 830
    SRD Sandalwood ss
    Thayers Cucumber WH w/ aloe
    Speick a/s
    C&E Sandalwood a/s milk
St. Charles Shave Sandalwood Edt (RIP Sue)

A few hours after my trainer beat me up I knew it would be a DE day...I took out the Chatsworth and had a great shave with the Straight Razor Designs glycerin Sandalwood soap. Sticking with the Sandalwood theme (the weather has turned cold) I finished with the C&E balm (not thick at all) and the St. Charles Shave Sandalwood Edt. Onward to the chiropractor.

Default B&T is hurting us again

'Beautiful kit there. 'Love that Genco. (haven't found one I didn't). I already know it shaves wonderfully.

    Thanks for posting.

Today I wanted to try the Imp again, so I thought about everything I read on SRP regarding sharpening and smoothing an edge. I figured the bevel was probably set at the factory since it cut the whiskers pretty well, but was harsh. Decided to run it a few laps on the Coti with just water. Went 25 laps very slowly on the Coti then stropped the blade well on a SR Premium 1

Since it was a day off for me, I went to lunch with a close friend at the River Palm. After lunch I went home and took a nice hot shower.

Stephens shave cream rubbed into my beard twice during the shower. This really softens my whiskers up.

    Warm Oil
    Hannah made Ceramic Bowl
    AOS Shave Cream
Red Imp 133 full hollow (NOS second time used)
    Pinaud Lilac Vegetal
    Vaseline for men

I guess I did it correctly because the blade was sharp and very smooth. I did my normal first two passes and checked. Bingo!!! No third pass required, no touch up!!!

Great shave, now a quick nap until the warden gets home. Three generations of stuff in this Photo: My Great Grandfathers Cigarette box, my daughters clown from her crib and my razor.
